Jonathan Stewart’s girlfriend is the one that’s eluded us since before we began this lil’ ol site six years ago.  I mean, dude has been a stud in the NFL since 2008. Yet in his eight years playing in the shield there’s never been a whisper about his dating life.

Don’t get us wrong.  There are definitely sites out there who have paying subscribers talk about who Jonathan Stewart’s girlfriend truly is.  A whole bunch of sizzle, though a total lack of steak.  Plenty of ladies talk about meeting JStew in the clubs, but no one seems to be able to take the throne as the lady riding shotgun in Stewart’s life.

As the Panthers head to the NFC title game, the spotlight has been cranked up and intensity focused on the question at hand.  WHO IS JONATHAN STEWART’S GIRLFRIEND?

Here’s what we know.  Jonathan Stewart is a helluva back staying loyal to the team that drafted him.  He’s seemed to have had a resurgence in his career in what most running backs see as the back nine of their career.  Strolling through his social media, there is definitely one woman who has come up, though he’s definitely not dating this one.  Jonathan Stewart loves his mom.

Look I get it.  Moms are the best.  And frankly, it would be nice to see more professional athlete’s throw their mom up on Twitter or Instagram, rather than pictures of clubs, cars and shoes.  But Jonathan Stewart’s mom shows up on more than one occasion, and it’s never a flippant “hey mom.”  Stewart was brought up right and goes out of his way to honor and respect his mother whenever he puts her out there publicly.

Good kid, good running back.  Who gives a damn who his girlfriend is.

Jerry Richardson’s wife Rosalind Sallenger Richardson attended Winthrop University in the late 1950s. Though she probably seemed like just another student at the time, Winthrop really couldn’t have accepted someone better for their future. You see, Rosalind Sallenger ended up marrying Jerry Richardson.

Jerry got his start in Spartanburg, S.C. with the Hardee’s chain and Spartan Foods. Richardson owned Flagstar Corporation, which owned both brands. He retired in 1995 and bought the Carolina Panthers franchise. In those 20 years, the NFL has grown at an enormous rate – along with the Richardson’s fortune.

So back Winthrop University. Jerry Richardson and wife Rosalind Sallenger Richardson established a $500,000 fully endowed scholarship to Winthrop. The scholarship was meant to honor his wife and her commitment to the arts.

The Richardsons are both lifelong residents of North Carolina. They have three children. Aside from son Jon (who died in 2013), they also have a son Mark and a daughter Ashley. They also have nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Their son Jon Richardson was the Former Panthers stadium president. In 2013, he died after a lengthy battle with cancer at the age of 53.

With the Carolina Panthers about to make the Super Bowl, we figured it was high time to cover Jerry Richardson and his wife Rosalind Sallenger Richardson. The Panthers are set to play the Denver Broncos, after the New England Patriots played a stinker of a game. While the Bronco’s defense has had a hell of a season, the same can be said about the Panthers defense. And when you compare and contrast the play of Cam Newton versus Peyton Manning – there’s an obvious advantage for the Panthers. In a battle of two great defenses, the team with the better offense, and specifically quarterback, tends to win. We can’t help but think the Panthers will crush them. We’ll see – but that’s where I would put my money.

Bruce DeHaven’s wife Kathy DeHaven is the mother of their two children, Toby and Annie. Toby’s actually attending Canisius as a freshman right now, and AnnieMaude is still in high school. They call her AMaude. I think it’s a pretty cool name. Kathy’s last listed address was Buffalo, New York. This was probably updated when Bruce worked for the Bills, but I think she probably just forgot to update it when he moved to the Panthers organization. This is pretty common. As an aside, Kathy’s niece set up her Facebook account for her back in 2011. Coincidentally, that was about the time young people about the age of Kathy’s kids started losing interest in using Facebook. Hmm…

The big piece of information that must be mentioned with Kathy and Bruce is Bruce’s diagnosis of prostate cancer. He was diagnosed almost a year ago, and he had to make up his mind whether he wanted to retire immediately or keep coaching special teams. The organization told him they’d pay for his healthcare and get him the best treatments. That’s a stand-up thing to do. The doctor gave him a fairly short window to live. From my understanding, doctors tend to be conservative in these matters. Bruce chose to continue coaching. Bruce DeHaven’s wife Kathy is taking things one day at a time. Very recently, she posted on social media to wish her husband a happy birthday and that she’d drink a “cool beverage” in his honor. That’s got to be rough to have your husband away on his birthday, especially when he’s got prostate cancer.

The good news for Bruce and Kathy is the Panthers are still in the running for a title. Personally, I don’t have any opinion of the Panthers (contrary to what some readers might think). However, now that I know Bruce is coaching with cancer, I’d rather the Panthers win. Also, the Broncos just beat the Patriots, so that hurts. Bruce DeHaven’s wife Kathy will likely attend the game. She knows how much it means to Bruce.

Shaq Thompson’s girlfriend Gabby Wagonblast has got a great name. Her nickname is also “the wagonblaster.” Ladies and gents, please put your hands together and give a warm round of applause to THE WAGONBLASTER! We’re talkin’ ’bout blastin’ some wagons here. Anyway, she’s a young and pretty lady who enjoys sharing the occasional astrological retweet, the occasional pointed relationship tweet, and the occasional unreasonable Chipotle tweet. That tweet goes as follows: “They shouldn’t have girls working at chipotle. They don’t give you enough food and they take forever.” Okiiiie dokiiie… She’s entitled to her opinion, I ‘spose. Though if there were “opinion entitlement licenses,” I wonder how long it would take for hers to be revoked.

It’s not easy blasting wagons, folks. Sometimes after a long hard day of wagonblasting, you come home and all you want to do is kick your feet up and watch Disney classics like Shaq Thompson’s girlfriend enjoys doing. The problem is, there’s ridiculous tweets that need to get out there, and they aren’t going to tweet themselves! Witness: “You say you only ‘fuck bad bitches’ but yo baby momma look like trinidad james … oh okay” Although I’ve got to admit I enjoyed her joke about not having a Twitter notification since Jonah Hill got skinny. We haven’t been able to figure out where she works, but she’s been known to complain heavily about having to go into work. Whenever you encounter someone who complains this much about going to work, you begin to think they feel entitled to not work. Maybe The Wagonblaster’s job should be a professional retweeter of Virgo astrology signs? Yes, her sign is Virgo.

Well, she’s pretty and she knows it. So she’s got that going for her, at least. No, I do think Shaq Thompson’s girlfriend has a decent sense of humor, but I also am under the impression that she’s massively spoiled and believes she can manipulate 99% of all human males using her dazzling looks (this may, in fact, be true).

Mike Tolbert’s wife Shianette Tolbert is treated well by ‘ole Mikey. He surprised her two weeks ago during a bye week and took her on vacation to Asheville. That’s where the largest privately owned house in America stands. It’s called The Biltmore Estate, and Mike and Shianette took a nice tour of the joint. He even someone to take care of the kids while they were away. That’s no small task. Their kids are named Major and Mikeala.

Shianette weighed in on the Miss Universe controversy a few weeks ago. Mike Tolbert’s wife said “the Steve Harvey mistake was terrible,” and then she congratulated Miss Philippines. Pretty standard fare there. I myself watched the Harvey mistake. Shit happens. The entire Tolbert family wore Drake Christmas sweaters during the holidays that read “I know when those sleigh bells ring.” Shianette called them “ugly Christmas sweaters.” A few weeks before that, Mike and Shianette attended a bowling event for breast cancer. Since the event was held around Halloween, everyone wore costumes. It looked like a fantastic combination: bowling and costumes. Mike dressed up as a late 80’s/early 90’s LL Cool J. Shianette appeared to be dressed as a hip-hop groupie from the same time period.

The couple goes out on date nights whenever they can. They tend to dress casually if they’re going to see a movie or get a regular dinner, but they can definitely turn up the volume and dress classy when they want. They’ve got range. Mike Tolbert’s wife always looks very cute in whatever she wears. She’s got a pretty smile. Mike tends to look fairly serious in photos, but he definitely has a good sense of humor. He posts a fair amount of jokey stuff online just like his wife. Shianette is a Filipina, so the family will sometimes vacation in Boracay like they did in 2015. As you might imagine, Shianette wasn’t too happy about Manny Pacquiao getting outclassed against Floyd.

Derek Anderson’s wife Mallory Anderson is an enchanting lady with an easy-going way about her. She’s Derek’s second wife, and they were married in 2013. Derek’s first wife was a lady named Lisa who grew up with him and another woman named Sara Jean Underwood. Sara Jean was best friends with Lisa, and Sara Jean ended up becoming the Playboy Playmate of the Year back in 2007. He went out and got himself a copy so he could check her out and tease her about it. I would do the exact same, although I imagine it’d be kind of weird having your wife look at it with you. I mean, she’s the chick’s best friend. Would she want to look at naked pictures of her best friend with her husband? It’s a weird scenario.

Anyway, those days of him and his wife looking at naked pictures of a girl he grew up with are long gone, and Derek Anderson’s wife Mallory has no Playboy connections as far as I can tell. The couple have a lovely little family going. Their dog is a labrador named Bandon, and their daughter is a female human baby named Amelia. The couple did some kind baby profile back in 2014 shortly after her birth for a local news channel. I get that it’s exciting for them to have a new child, but it’s really not too engaging content to profile a guy’s new baby, in my opinion. It’s nice to see the couple happy together, of course.

Mallory hasn’t actually used her Twitter account in almost a year. She likely had too much on her plate with young Amelia to bother updating her life for everyone. For a long while, Derek and Mallory would travel to and from North Carolina and Oregon. They have a home there where they like to retreat. They also travel to Arizona for similar retreats.

Cortland Finnegan’s wife Lacey Finnegan is a beautiful blonde mother of their two daughters. She’s got a very pretty face– classic attractiveness at work. I’d expect nothing less from a focused performer like Mr. Finnegan. Lacey was wearing some bright golden sneakers recently while Cortland sported some more conventional kicks. It’s good to get an update now and again on what players and their wives are wearing on their feet. We wouldn’t want to fall behind in our knowledge of sports wife fashions. Lacey often takes their young daughter to ballet. You get about as much out of the waiting room at the ballet studio as you would think. That is to say it’s fairly boring waiting in a ballet studio’s waiting room, but if they have a large glass window you can at least kind of get the gyst of what’s going on. Cortland Finnegan’s wife Lacey has got a great sense of humor just like Cortland. Funny jokes and acting goofy is one of the first things I look for from someone’s social media updates. If you find them present and accounted for, that’s a good sign. Well, I’m happy to report that Lacey and Cortland have got memes and goofy pictures aplenty. Sure, there’s the frequent religious outpouring, but you gotta’ know that’s standard issue with most athletes. Plus they’re about a 4 out of 10 on the religion in-your-face-o-meter.

The couple have two Rottweilers, and I believe Cortland just got a new puppy recently. The couple are a fan of animals, and Cortland Finnegan’s wife was photographed by him with their daughter a petting zoo a little over a year ago. They enjoyed petting a billy goat. The billy goat, naturally, is the first animal one turns to at a petting zoo. Cortland didn’t get to adventurous for fear of sullying his pristine sneakers.

Cam Newton’s son Chosen Newton has taken the world by storm.

The enigmatic quarterback has generated headlines in recent weeks. Newton’s headlines are usually reserved for his absurd and redefining-of-the-position play on the field, this is something entirely different. Cam Newton’s son seems to have transformed the man that people love to love and love to hate.

Born on Christmas Eve, 2015, Cam Newton’s son came into the world with a unique name, from a unique parent. Cam, known for his individual style, has already broken out a customized jacket with his boys name embroidered on the back.

So, where did the name Chosen come from exactly?

I wanted something that would be masculine, but yet unique.  I’m not a big fan of juniors and every person that I’ve had this conversation when I say ‘I don’t want to have the pressure of him being a junior’, they reply, ‘what the hell do you think Chosen’s going to bring?’

Fair points Cam.   The name Chosen is definitely cool, but it’s certainly going to bring some heat on the playground, and the football fields int he future.

Chosen Sebastian Newton was born to Cam Newton’s girlfriend Kia Proctor. Proctor was formerly a dancer, but seems to have settled down with one of the most polarizing stars in the NFL.

Shortly after his son’s birth, Cam Newton did a touchdown celebration dance where he rocked a football baby in the endzone.  Rather than doing the usual “dab” celebration, Newton paid homage to his boy.  Though Cam didn’t comment on it after the game, the ever conscious social media platforms quickly found out.

Cam could sweep the greatest 6 week stretch a man could have with a win over the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl 50.  Vegas currently holds the Panthers as a -6 favorite over Peyton Manning and the Orange and Blue.

That must have been complicated to explain to the family the first time. Turns out that Cam’s “rock the cradle” touchdown dance was a direct reference to their new child. Newton wouldn’t comment on this touchdown dance at the time. He now explains that he didn’t want to take any attention away from his team.

Cam even claims that his son Chosen is walking – at a mere one month! Obviously this is a joke, but it certainly wouldn’t surprise us if Chosen Newton inherits some of his parents’s athletic genes. Cam’s athletic talents aren’t up for debate, but let’s not forget Kia Proctor in this equation.

Stripping isn’t easy – you try sliding up and down that pole for hours on end and see how sore you are at the end of the day. In her former life as a stripper, she worked for the famous Washington DC Stadium Club. The assumption is that Kia has given up her former career. She has done plenty of modeling work recently. This newfound modeling career, along with a relationship with the prohibitive NFL MVP favorite, likely closes the door on a return to the stage & pole.

By now, the Michael Oher story has been told over and again. But when it comes to Michael Oher’s wife, the book hasn’t even begun.

As you all know, Michael Oher was the inspiration behind the Michael Lewis book, The Blind Side. In the book and movie, Michael Oher was a homeless teen, adopted by a loving family. Michael Oher’s mother Leigh Anne Tuohy was the catalyst for the change in his life to become his legal guardian. Michael Oher’s parents helped transform him from nomadic lost teen, into a force on the football field, which ultimately landed him in the NFL.

But when it comes to Michael Oher’s real life, the story is a little different. Oher alleges factual discrepancies painted an exaggerated picture, and he’s worked to distance himself from the story. In that light, it’s not surprising that there’s no information out there about Michael Oher’s girlfriend, or Michael Oher’s wife. The Panthers left tackle, who is days away from playing in his second Super Bowl, has done a tremendous job keeping his private life private, leaving no bread crumbs to find the trail to his love life.

We do think it’s worth pointing out one misunderstanding. If you type “Michael Oher wife” into Google, it will prompt you to autofill with Michael Oher wife Tabitha. Let’s set the record straight. Speaking of Newton, the Panthers QB was the main reason Oher signed with Carolina. A text conversation between the two ended with Cam saying that he didn’t just want him on the Panthers,… that he needed him. A Super Bowl berth, and possibly trophy later, certainly prove Cam knew what he needed.

As of this writing, Fozzy Whittaker’s girlfriend Jasmine Clayton has only 58 days to go until the big day. They’re getting married in Austin, Texas. The story of their engagement is pretty awesome. I gotta’ hand it to Fozzy, he came up with a good one. He took Jasmine to SeaWorld on a little excursion into a tank with a Beluga whale named Martha. He had a small blue buoy painted with the words “Will You Marry Me?” and then put the ring contained in a small box in the fish bin for Jasmine to discover. The buoy floated away at first, but Martha the Beluga retrieved it and brought it back! Not only that, but they took a picture afterwards with Martha the whale! Apparently the whole proposal with Martha gag is old hat and SeaWorld does it all the time. What a world…

Jasmine’s originally from Texas, and she had all of her bridesmaids describe their friendships to Jasmine. They all kinda’ playfully busted her balls. The maid of honor said the only reason Fozzy Whittaker’s girlfriend became friends with her was because of their mutual love of Allen Iverson. She then said they were two completely different people, she has no idea why she kept her around for so long, and then thanked Fozzy for taking her off her hands! Then, another one of Jasmine’s friends said she was on Jasmine’s list of worst people ever and that Jasmine hated her. According to her, their “stepping skills” brought them together. I think that means they were dancing together since they were part of the same sorority.

This couple seems real nice. They have a nice relaxed energy, and they are always having fun in their photos. Fozzy and Jasmine actually have a son named Frost together. He’s a cute kid. They’ve also got a dog named Neiko who I believe is the same age as their son- two years old. Life as a family is really coming together for this couple. Fozzy Whittaker’s girlfriend will soon be his wife.

Brad Nortman’s wife Lexi Nortman married him in 2015 and went on a very brief honeymoon so he could make it to training camp. Training camp for a punter? I mean, how much training does the guy really need? I say let him stay in the Caribbean and practice on seashells. The couple tied the knot at the Biltmore Estate– the same place Mike Tolbert’s wife Shianette likes to go on vacation. According to a short piece on the couple by Charlotte Magazine, Brad gave Lexi a little blue box holding a ring there. If you want to go big and regal, that’s the place to do it.

Now, the story that Brad tells about how he met Lexi isn’t exactly clear because that same piece didn’t really explain it, but I’ll retell what I think happened. While they were both in college, they lived in an apartment building and were neighbors. Brad Nortman’s wife Lexi was his next-door neighbor, but he didn’t know her at all. He lost his wallet one day, and he went out looking for it, attempting to retrace his steps so that he could find it. When he got home, there was a note on his door that said “I’m Lexi in apartment 412.” What was unclear is if she had found the wallet and had attached the note to tell him. I don’t think she did find the wallet. What is clear is that he invited her over, and they hit it off immediately.

Around Christmas time, Brad Nortman’s wife and him attended “Star Wars VII” just like everybody else, and they both wore their Star Wars t-shirts to the show. I like the one Lexi was wearing. It said “Born to Lead” and had Darth Vader’s head among dozens of stormtrooper heads. They certainly appear to always be on the same page when they’re together in photographs. They’re both religious. Lexi thinks of herself as a “nutrition aficionado” and a “fitness maven.” I’ve seen her in poolside pics in a bikini, and boy does she have the fitness thing down. She’s done a bit of modeling as well. You’d expect that from a woman as pretty as her.

Michael Oher’s sister Collins Tuohy recently married her husband, Cannon. The wedding appears spectacular in all the pictures. It’s not trick photography either. I understand Americans go overboard on these events, but wow! This thing looked like the ultimate bash. Anyhow, you may already be familiar with Michael Oher’s story. Michael and Collins are siblings by adoption. The Tuohy family are good-hearted people because they helped him early in life. The whole story is documented by the smash hit The Blind Side. Let’s talk about his wonderful sister who seems to have the whole world in the palm of her hand.

I need to tell you about Michael Oher’s sister and the cookie business. Back around 2011, Collins started to order cookies from a woman named Laurie. She fell in love with the cookies, and she really liked Laurie. So she decided to propose an equal partnership to grow Laurie’s cookie business. Ever since then, they seem to really do well because they get good press and their website is top-notch. They moved the company to Memphis because they found a fantastic location in an old house. The company receives a lot of quality foot traffic too. In fact, I think I saw it once when I visited the city.

Since Michael Oher’s sister lived through the events of The Blind Side, she engaged in a lengthy promotional tour of the film. According to her personal website, she also engages in various public talks about how to change your life and succeed. Well, based on what I know about her, she is qualified to do so! Her and her husband own two dogs which appear to be Wheaten Terriers, but don’t quote me on that since my breed-identification is not perfect. One of them, Ella, experienced some severe tummy problems recently which caused a lot of anxiety and pet hospital visits for Collins. Given the nature of her wholesome lifestyle and love for family, I think Collins will soon have a new addition to her family!

Christian McCaffrey’s girlfriend Brooke Pettet attended the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism from 2013 to 2017. The school is also part of Arizona State University. However, she doesn’t seem to identify herself exclusively as a journalist yet. She talked about her strong organizational skills on her professional social media account. Brooke also landed a job at a gym as a personal trainer. I see many player wives and girlfriends become personal trainers. They take good care of themselves and possess fitness knowledge. It makes sense.

Though no ones yet heard how they met, I have a strong theory. Since Christian McCaffrey’s girlfriend shares pictures but he doesn’t, he does give one clue. Back in March, he thanked the gym she works for after they prepped him for the NFL Combine. Brooke may have recruited him into the gym. It’s also entirely possible Christian asked them if they would employ her since she started in July. Anyway, that’s the only mention of their relationship on his personal social media account. Brooke, on the other hand, shared a lot of photos on her own account. She loves to ride horses and grew up with them. She rides equestrian.

The oldest picture I saw of the couple comes from February of 2016. Terez Owens showed a bunch of social media photos of the couple. Christian McCaffrey’s girlfriend attended the Stanford game at the Rose Bowl in 2016. They also won the game, and she commented how happy it made her. My best guess is they knew each other since high school since they both grew up in Colorado. Brooke herself comes from the Denver area. I don’t think they attended the same high school but Highlands Ranch (where Christian went to high school) is about 20 miles from Denver. They also spent New Year in Castle Rock, Colorado together. Their life could just be getting started!

Matt Rhule’s wife Julie Rhule is about to embark on the ol’ college to pro transition.  Heading from Baylor to the Carolina Panthers is a big leap for the family.  After a sizzling career from Temple to Baylor, Rhule was given a a monster deal.  The Panthers have clearly committed to Rhule, and now the Rhule family has establish some roots in Charlotte.  But, before Matt signed on the dotted line, it was Julie he knew this was the place their family was going to go.

You don’t just interview Matt.  The interview involves Julie.

The Panthers brass was not dumb in their pitch.  It’s not just coaching an NFL team.  It’s becoming part of a family.  And Matt Rhule’s wife latched right on to that.  From the Panthers official website, Matt explains Julie’s influence:

“He was born here in Asheville,” Julie said. “He spent 16 days in the NICU. We’ve driven through the state whenever we’ve had the chance and he’s always just had a draw to Carolina. He just thought this would be a great place to live.”

Matt Rhule’s wife has given birth to the couple’s three children.  In addition to the determined Bryant mentioned above, Julie also brought Vivienne and Leona into the world.  There is no public social media presence for Julie, and Matt has posted limited pictures of her on his social.   But, like any proud father out there, he’s not afraid to post his kids.  Clearly a proud dad, who bought into the Panther family pitch.  With a 7 year deal, we think this is a marriage that’s going to work out fine!

Luke Kuechly’s girlfriend Shannon Reilly was a superb student and went out of her way to maintain that status.   At one point during school, she maintained a website (or blog, not sure how to qualify it).   But, what we are sure about is that she wrote a lot, and most of it centered on how to be good at something.  A good leader, a good classmate,  good volunteer and good doctor and on and on and on.  It’s pretty much impossible to determine if this is a self help website, or if she was assigned topics to write about.  But now, I can tell you just about everything about this girl, for I have read a virtual memoir and autobiography thanks to her website. Never before have I seen as large a cache of information on one player wife or girlfriend. I’m serious, guys, there are like two dozen different links and essays she provides about herself.

So what was this for again?

Again, kinda hard to tell.   Our best guess is that it was assigned with various topics to write about.  I haven’t been in school for 20+ years, so maybe this is how they do essays now.  Sure seems easier for the professor to set up a dozen bookmarks and check them out whenever, rather than chasing papers.  A consistent theme was driving home that she’s ready for the next steps after undergrad.  She moved on to post-grad studies in medicine. Luke Kuechly’s girlfriend had a stated goal in life was first to become a surgeon (I’m referencing her “Final Reflection” essay).  It’s not often we get a glimpse into the wife this often.  But we’ll take it.

Shannon Reilly was focused on the end goal, and it paid off.  She is now a Physician’s Assistant working for a local ortho clinic in Charlotte.  Back in undergrad, she was digging her future.   I absolutely love the photo of her latex-gloved hand holding what looks like a cadavers arm. It might be the most surreal photo of a pro athlete’s girlfriend I’ve seen yet. It’s probably not a corpse. I hope not, anyway.

I’m certain not even her star linebacker boyfriend has this much information on the web about him, and I guarantee you he hasn’t provided a tenth as much himself. He had a pretty darn good year with 93 tackles, 156 combined, 2 sacks, and 4 interceptions. He’s a Pro-Bowler, and he’s dating a girl who has some serious career aspirations. He apparently didn’t take her to Hawaii to the Pro-Bowl, and I can understand why.

So, Shannon Reilly is Luke Kuechly’s girlfriend or Luke Keuchly’s wife?

Great question.  Many sites report that Luke and Shannon are married.  However, Luke himself referred to his “girlfriend who has been with him since the beginning,” in his retirement speech.  Reports seem to indicate they began dating in 2012.  But, we question that.  They both grew up in Cincinnati, where Shannon graduated undergrad.  Were they together before college?   Either way, Shannon and Luke are a happy couple.  With Luke’s sudden retirements on January 20, 2020, they’ll be getting plenty more time together.  Thankfully, Shannon’s patient ratings are near perfect, so they’ll aways have her income to fall back on!

Ron Rivera’s wife Stephanie Rivera is a coach too.

Can you imagine the punishments in that house?  Windsprints for days

She gave an interview with Andrea Kremer of the NFL Network, and Andrea asked her what it’s like to have two coaches in the family that can talk shop. She said that it’s basically a dynamic where they understand each other a lot more than your average sports wife would. While most sports wives know a lot about sports purely as an occupational hazard, Stephanie knows sports. She is currently the head coach of the women’s basketball team at Cathedral, and she was previously the coach of the Washington Mystics of the WNBA.

Ron met his future wife back in the early 80’s when Stephanie was a talented point guard for Cal. They met and played a bunch of pickup games with friends, and around the third game he asked her out. She eventually tore her ACL and got herself a degree in psychology. ACL injuries are such bummers. The couple has been together since 1983, which means they’ve been together for a long time – roughly 32 years. They’ve got two dogs, a golden retriever and a smaller dog (I’m not going to try and figure out the breed), and they also have two grown children. The kids are named Courtney and Christopher, and they’re both athletes as well.

Off the fields

Stephanie Rivera is a very active lady. She loves to golf, get out in nature, and travel. When Ron Rivera’s wife isn’t busy coaching, she goes hiking with Ron.  They also enjoy time on the lake. I’m fairly certain they have a house on a lake in Greenwood, North Carolina. There’s a nice golf course that Stephanie goes to a lot in the summer, and the rest of their time is spent on the lake or hiking. Sounds lovely. Stephanie is a passionate sports fan, and she’s especially keen on California sports. When the Golden State Warriors won the championship, she said she could finally go to sleep at night knowing the Warriors were the champs.
